The Prompt
To promote an exhibition of Spanish portraits at The Mississippi Museum of Art, I worked on a team to develop and create a paper doll piece to encourage interaction with the themes of the show. The goal was to produce a hands-on activity that continued a visitor’s learning and engagement with the exhibition. A social hashtag was included to collect and celebrate the work.

The Design
Using poses and clothing found in the paintings on display, I developed the figure illustrations, layout, and production of the piece. I worked with our printer to accommodate for the custom die cuts that would allow for easy construction while not losing any details that made the clothing unique to the time and place of the portraits.
